2017 / Hideout Bali and Hideout Lightroom are unique stays in the mountains of the Gunung Agung volcano in Bali. Both are eco all-bamboo houses—from construction to furniture. Designed by a young couple from the Czech Republic, Jarmil and Alena crafted the houses together with bamboo workers from the local village. A paradise-like place set among the rice fields. In collaboration with Zuzana Caprnkova, Rad Eye, we had the unique chance to be part of this project at its beginning and photograph the progress. Hideout Bali became so popular that it ranked 4th on the list of the top 10 best Airbnb houses in the world.
